2/20/25 | Spring games start Saturday for the O's and Suarez will get first start in Sarasota. The Baltimore Orioles are about to open up Spring Training games starting this weekend. Manager Brandon Hyde named Albert Suarez his game one starter in Sarasota, Florida when the Orioles host the Pittsburgh Pirates this Saturday afternoon. Read into it if you want, but it doesn't mean anything for the Orioles' rotation. While Suarez will be a key arm for the O's this season, he is expected to go back to the bullpen with the starting rotation to be Grayson Rodriguez, Zach Eflin, Charlie Morton, Dean Kremer and Tomoyuki Sugano.
