1/17/25 Los Angeles Dodgers Less Likely to Trade with A's?. The Athletics are on the move from Oakland to Sacramento, and potentially one day on to Las Vegas. While this is supposed to be good news for the organization, it could also have some ramifications, specifically when it comes to the current World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The A's and Dodgers have made a few trades over the years, with the then Oakland squad sending Rich Hill and Josh Reddick to Los Angeles in 2016, and getting a package back that included Frankie Montas.

11/25/24 Ex-Red Sox Fan-Favorite Hoping To Continue Big League Career. One former member of the Boston Red Sox is hoping to keep his career going. Veteran pitcher Rich Hill is a 20-year big league veteran and will be 45 years old by the time the 2025 Major League Baseball season gets here. While this is the case, it doesn't sound like he's ready to hang his cleats up and he wants to pitch one more year, according to MLB Network's Jon Morosi. 11/21/24 Boston Red Sox Veteran Rich Hill Eying Return to MLB Entering Age 45 Season. Rich Hill wants to keep pitching in 2025, MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported Thursday. Hill, who is set to turn 45 years old in March, is currently with Team USA at the WBSC Premier 12 tournament in Japan. Hill has yet to give up an earned run in his 10.1 innings of action in Japan this month, all while boasting a 0.677 WHIP and 12.2 strikeouts per nine innings. With that kind of production still on the table, it figures that MLB teams will be interested in giving Hill another chance.
