If you have watched the new Boston Red Sox documentary on Netflix then you'd see that it's pretty hard not to root for flamethrower Cam Booser. Booser had a great year last year and finished the season with a 3.38 ERA and 43-to-16 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 42 2/3 innings pitched as a rookie. Such an unlikely big league debut was worth commemorating, and he was determined to track down a specific memento — a one-of-a-kind baseball card that included a jersey patch from his uniform for his first game. “That was one of the cooler moments I've ever had,” said Cam Booser, a reliever who was traded from the Red Sox to the White Sox in December.
