4/25/25 Texas Rangers' Jack Leiter to make his return to the starting rotation. All tests have been passed. Jack Leiter will return to the Rangers starting rotation on Sunday. Manager Bruce Bochy confirmed what had appeared obvious: Leiter will take the spot in the rotation vacated by Kumar Rocker's placement on the IL. “He's a full go,” Bochy said of Leiter, who threw 60 pitches in 4? innings of a rehab assignment for Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday against Las Vegas.

4/22/25 Rangers starter trending in promising direction amid injury recovery. Jack Leiter is officially on the comeback trail. The Texas Rangers announced that Leiter, who is currently on the 15-day injured list due to a blister on his right middle finger, has been sent to Triple-A RoundRock to begin his rehab assignment, according to the team. Before the setback, Leiter looked every bit like the future ace the Rangers had hoped for. Leiter's poise and precision helped him secure his first Major League win on March 28th against the Boston Red Sox.

4/19/25 Jack Leiter's IL stint could end soon as Texas Rangers map out his return to rotation. Jack Leiter will take on the final challenge of his blister odyssey Tueday. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Leiter, on the IL with a blister on his right middle finger since April 3, will pitch Tuesday for Triple-A Round Rock on a rehab assignment start against Las Vegas. If that outing, expected to last 60-65 pitches goes well, Leiter would be in position to return to the starting rotation either next Sunday at San Francisco or April 28 against the Athletics in Arlington.

4/18/25 Texas Rangers' Jack Leiter 'ready to go for whatever is next' in road to return from IL. A day after a 3-inning simulated game that also included another inning in the bullpen, Rangers starter Jack Leiter reported no issue with the blister on his right middle finger and said he's “ready to go for whatever is next.” “It could be a rehab start,” manager Bruce Bochy said, “but we are not etching it in stone.” Be the smartest Rangers fan. Leiter has been out since April 3 with a blister that developed in the midst of his start at Cincinnati on April 2.

4/13/25 Texas Rangers' Jack Leiter, Wyatt Langford eye next tasks on injury rehab to-do list. Jack Leiter threw his second 35-pitch bullpen of the week on Sunday and his next task may be a rehab start this week. Leiter, who has been on the IL with a blister on his right middle finger since April 3, has thrown three bullpens on the Rangers' road trip, increasing the test on the tender skin on his finger each time. On Sunday, he ramped back up to 35 pitches over two simulated innings with a protective glue covering the finger. Leiter said it felt a bit “weird,” with the glue on the finger, but the Rangers will reassess after the glue comes off.
