3/18/25 Angels send down Chase Silseth after rough spring. The Angels on Tuesday optioned right-hander Chase Silseth, which is no surprise considering he'd allowed 15 earned runs in 13 innings this spring. Both have looked good this spring, so it's possible the Angels keep one of them in the bullpen, as they did with José Soriano to start the season last year. “Until we make that decision, that's on the table,” Angels manager Ron Washington said. It's worth noting that Detmers has pitched in relief – albeit in starter-length outings – in each of his last two games.

3/17/25 Christian Moore, Kyren Paris rally Angels to victory over Diamondbacks. Moore has a two-run double, then Paris adds a three-run double during a seven-run ninth inning in an 11-5 Cactus League win. Starter Chase Silseth allows five earned runs.

3/10/25 Angels use 8-run inning to blow out Rockies. THE GAME: The Angels used two of their three candidates for the No. 5 starter spot and busted the game open with eight runs in the seventh on their way to a 12-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies in a Cactus League game on Monday in Tempe, Arizona. PITCHING REPORT: Right-hander Chase Silseth gave up three runs in four innings. It could have been worse, but Silseth picked off two runners. Silseth walked one and struck out four.

2/24/25 Angels’ Chase Silseth has a clean elbow and a new mindset this spring. Silseth, 24, showed promise as a starter in 2023, before he suffered a concussion in a freak accident. He missed much of 2024 with an elbow injury. He's in camp now competing for a rotation spot.
