| 4/18/25 | Tigers place Beau Brieske on IL, welcome back reliever days after demotion. The Detroit Tigers placed right-handed reliever Beau Brieske on the 10-day injured list with right ankle inflammation before Friday's game. Right-hander Brenan Hanifee, optioned only two days ago to Triple-A Toledo, was recalled to take his spot on the roster. Brieske aggravated an ongoing ankle problem last week in Minnesota when he slipped coming off the mound while covering first base. “He was pretty sore after stumbling off the mound,” Tigers manager A.J.
