4/20/25 MLB roundup: Phillies hang on for 11-10 win over Marlins. Bryson Stott had three hits and three RBIs, Trea Turner rapped four hits and drove in two runs, and the host Philadelphia Phillies survived Miami's six-run uprising in the ninth inning to beat the Marlins 11-10 on Saturday. Johan Rojas added three hits and three runs, and Max Kepler also had two RBIs for the Phillies, who have won three in a row. Miami dropped its fifth straight but did not go quietly, tagging Phillies closer Jordan Romano with all six runs. Dane Myers hit a three-run homer in the ninth, Graham Pauley added an RBI double and Liam Hicks slammed a two-run homer before Jose Alvarado came on to record the final out for his fifth save of the season. 4/18/25 Phillies Notebook: Phils' new lineup paying off. As much as he may have been poked, prodded, or straightup challenged by sharp questions over the last two-plus years, Phillies manager Rob Thomson stubbornly refused to change his usual lineup in any fundamental way. Sure, Schwarber produced. This season has been different with Thomson, starting a week ago in St. Louis, when he put Bryson Stott at the top of the order, followed by Turner and then Bryce Harper, with Schwarber hitting fourth to protect Harper.

4/16/25 Phillies Notebook: Healthy again, Bryson Stott gradually returning to form. Phillies manager Rob Thomson gave second baseman Bryson Stott a night off from the starting lineup Wednesday, seeing an opportunity to use righty Edmundo Sosa against San Francisco Giants southpaw Robbie Ray. Entering the game, they were hitting just .167 against him. Righties weren't doing much better (.175), but Sosa came in hitting .444 overall and .357 against lefties.

4/11/25 Thomson explains the significant change to Phillies' lineup. The 8-4 Phillies made a significant change to their lineup to begin a weekend series with the Cardinals, moving Bryson Stott up to the leadoff spot and Kyle Schwarber to cleanup, behind Bryce Harper. Through 12 games, the Phillies led off Schwarber against right-handers and Trea Turner against lefties, but Schwarber has been their most productive hitter and his power bat is more meaningful right now behind Harper than a couple spots in front of him.

4/05/25 Phillies' Bryson Stott's armband helps reveal gender of a friend's baby during game. Philadelphia Phillies infielder Bryson Stott went the extra mile to help a friend make a special announcement. During the Phillies' game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Citizens Bank Park Saturday, Stott wore a unique piece of equipment for an in-game baby gender reveal. Stott wore a pink armband when he walked into the batter's box for the first time in Saturday's game. Phillies broadcaster Tom McCarthy announced the second baseman's friend, Ryan Stevens, would soon be a father to a baby girl.
