4/22/25 Rockies rally but lose 11-inning heartbreaker to Royals. The Rockies wasted a dramatic ninth-inning rally and fumbled away chances to win in extra innings — not to mention spoiling a superb start from Ryan Feltner —  before losing 4-3 to the Royals in 11 innings Tuesday night. K.C. backup catcher Freddy Fermin singled a line drive to center off Tyler Kinley to score ghost runner Mark Canha for the game-winner at Kaufmann Stadium. The Rockies, 4-18 overall, have lost 11 consecutive road games, with their lone road win coming on March 29 at Tampa Bay, in the second game of the season.

4/03/25 After matching sweeps, Rockies and A's seek solace in Denver weather. After a long first week on the road, the Colorado Rockies finally get to host their home opener Friday afternoon as they begin a three-game series against the Athletics. The Rockies send Ryan Feltner (0-0, 3.60 ERA) against Osvaldo Bido (1-0, 1.80) in a matchup of right-handers. Friday is not expected to offer traditional baseball weather. The forecast calls for highs in the mid-40s and afternoon showers at first pitch and snow possible later, which is a familiar April scenario in Denver.

3/30/25 Defense a key to success for Rockies against Rays. The Colorado Rockies' bullpen played a pivotal role in the first two contests of the team's three-game series against the host Tampa Bay Rays. The Rockies hope Ryan Feltner can give the bullpen a much-needed breather in the series finale on Sunday afternoon when he opposes fellow right-hander Taj Bradley. Feltner, who posted a 3-10 record with a 4.49 ERA last season, will aim to give Colorado its third straight productive outing from its starting pitcher. Kyle Freeland struck out seven and scattered two hits over six scoreless innings before the bullpen struggled in the Rockies' 3-2 loss to the Rays on Friday.
