The White Sox front office silently tells us what it thinks of this hot-hitting prospect He is off to a great start in Charlotte while Andrew Vaughn is struggling mightily at the big-league level. By Todd Welter | Share on Facebook Share on X Copy Article Michael Reaves/GettyImages Share on Facebook Share on X Share on Reddit Copy Article The offense is in a terrible funk, and one reason is Andrew Vaughn is off to another slow start. A slow start is putting it nicely. The White Sox first baseman has a .138/.188/.262 slash line with a wRC+ of 27. 3/12/25 White Sox sign OF Travis Jankowski to minor league deal. The White Sox signed veteran Travis Jankowsk to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training Tuesday, and it seems the outfielder best remembered by Sox fans for stealing a home run from Andrew Vaughn last season stands a good chance of making the Opening Day roster. With Andrew Benintendi all but certain to miss the start of the season with a broken bone in his hand, and Austin Slater dealing with an oblique strain, there's room in an outfield that now includes Luis Robert Jr., Mike Tauchman and Michael A. Taylor at the top of the depth chart.
