1/29/25 | Dodgers reach agreement with Alex Vesia, avoid arbitration. LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers have reached agreement on a one-year contract with left-hander Alex Vesia, avoiding a hearing with their last unsigned arbitration-eligible player this winter. Vesia had filed at $2.35 million earlier this month while the Dodgers countered at $2.05 million. The new deal will pay Vesia $2.25 million in 2025 with a club option for 2026 that could pay Vesia $3.55 million up to $3.725 million based on appearances this season. Acquired from the Miami Marlins in February 2021 along with Kyle Hurt in a trade for reliever Dylan Flores, Vesia has emerged as the top left-handed option in the Dodgers' bullpen. Over four seasons with the Dodgers, he is 15-10 with eight saves, a Source: https://www.dailybulletin.com/2025/01/29/dodgers-r... |
