| 4/19/25 | Brewers Hold Off Late Athletics Rally. MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Athletics put up a pair of 9th-inning runs, but Trevor Megill still managed to nail down his second save of the season in a 5-3 victory on Friday. Christian Yelich had a pair of run-scoring singles, bringing home Jackson Chourio in the 3rd and Brice Turang in the 5th. He also produced an RBI groundout in the 7th to score Caleb Durbin. Chourio added a double and one RBI on the night. Durbin recorded two hits. Freddy Peralta pitched five innings and scattered seven hits to earn his second win of the season. A parade of five relievers, including Nick Mears (6th) and Abner Uribe (7th), helped shut the door on the A's. | 3/07/25 | Brewers Roll Over A's in Spring Ball. PHOENIX, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers had no problem with the A's last night in a 10-0 win at spring training. Six pitchers combined on the shut-out led by Jacob Misiorowski who tossed three innings with three Ks. Trevor Megill, Jared Koenig and Elvis Peguero also had clean innings with Koenig striking out the side. Garrett Mitchell had three RBIs and Ernesto Martinez Jr drove in two.
