4/11/25 Nathaniel Lowe comes off bench to power Nationals past Marlins. Nathaniel Lowe, who was scratched from the start due to an illness, entered the game in the eighth inning, slugging a pinch-hit, three-run, go-ahead double to give the visiting Washington Nationals a 7-4 win over the Miami Marlins on Friday night. Washington continued its winning ways against Miami after the Nationals went 11-2 against the Marlins last year. Nationals shortstop CJ Abrams, a 2024 All-Star, left the game in the fourth inning due to an unspecified injury.

3/31/25 Nationals look to continue power surge in series opener vs. Jays. The notion that the Washington Nationals have turned on the power switch will be tested again Monday night when they visit the Toronto Blue Jays in the opener of a three-game series. After finishing 29th in the majors with 135 home runs last season, the Nationals added Nathaniel Lowe and Josh Bell in the offseason. The moves paid off on Sunday afternoon when each homered in a 5-1 victory over the visiting Philadelphia Phillies. "Those are our two big boys," Washington manager Dave Martinez said.

3/30/25 Aaron Nola allows 2 HRs in season debut as Philadelphia Phillies lose series finale to Nationals. Josh Bell and Nathaniel Lowe homered, and the Washington Nationals avoided a season-opening series sweep with a 5-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. Bell, who was 0 for 9 to begin his second stint with Washington, ripped an Aaron Nola fastball into the center-field seats for a three-run homer in the fourth inning. Lowe ended Nola's day with a two-run shot to center in the sixth.

2/26/25 Top Prospect for Washington Nationals Predicted To Win Rookie of the Year. With the start of the season right around the corner, the Nationals are getting excited about what might finally be a year in which they can compete a bit. Since winning the World Series in 2019, there have been a lot of losses for Washington. Arguably the biggest bright spot for the Nationals is their batting order. This winter, they added a couple of solid veterans into the mix, like Nathaniel Lowe, Josh Bell, Amed Rosario, and Paul DeJong.
