4/21/25 5 things we learned about the Rangers this week: Tyler Mahle's historic start; Dab is back. If you squint, ignore how Friday and Sunday's game ended and state that the Texas Rangers took four of six games vs. the two Los Angeles teams this week at Globe Life Field, you might call it a resounding success. “It was a pretty good homestand,” Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Sunday. Hey, it kept the Rangers atop the American League West standings, and despite a tough offensive showing in a weekend series vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers, they can carry their sweep of the Los Angeles Angels and walk-off win vs. the reigning champs on Saturday into the future with some good vibes.

Mahle pitched six scoreless innings in Tuesday's 4-0 win vs. the Angels at Globe Life Field and owns a league-best 0.92 ERA through four starts.
