4/14/25 Brewers hope a return home will end skid vs. Tigers. After dropping the final two games of a western swing, the Milwaukee Brewers will look to bounce back behind left-hander Tyler Alexander when they return home to open a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers on Monday. Alexander (1-0, 2.84 ERA) will be opposed by left-hander Tarik Skubal (1-2, 3.78), the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner. Milwaukee lost at Arizona, 5-2, on Sunday, getting just 5 1/3 innings from starter Freddy Peralta. William Contreras had a two-run homer in the first inning for the Brewers, who failed to score the rest of the way.
