Yes, he's in a new uniform after getting dealt from the Reds to the Yankees over this past offseason in the Jose Trevino trade, but that's just the start of it. Since Cruz got to the Yankees, he's made a slew of adjustments. TAMPA, Fla. — Fernando Cruz came over to the Yankees in the Jose Trevino trade with the Reds this past offseason with some of the best strikeout numbers of any reliever in baseball. His swing-and-miss rate and nasty splitter instantly took the ceiling of the Yankees' bullpen to new heights.
