The Springer signing hasn't worked out for the Blue Jays, due to both injury and poor performance. While not living up to his contract in any of his four seasons in Toronto to date, the 2024 campaign was especially bad, as he hit just .220 with 19 home runs and 56 RBIs through 145 games.
