4/14/25 Los Angeles Dodgers' Star International Signee on a Tear at Triple-A Oklahoma City. Hyeseong Kim, a prominent offseason signee by the Los Angeles Dodgers, didn't make the roster coming out of spring training and instead is spending his first season in the United States with the Triple-A Oklahoma City Comets. Kim's play undoubtedly has grabbed the attention of the Dodgers' brass. The 26-year-old infielder, through 14 games, is hitting .293 with three home runs, seven doubles, a triple and 13 runs driven in. The Round Rock Express, who finished a six-game series with the Comets on Sunday, had their fill of Kim.

4/10/25 Dodgers trade deadline mock proposal lands $50 million All-Star center fielder. Center field is the lone wart on the otherwise ungodly lineup of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Pages is only 24, so the Dodgers may be willing to give him some time to work out the kinks, especially with international signee Hyeseong Kim waiting in Triple-A. But if the position isn't solved by the trade deadline, one can safely assume LA will look to change things up. This is also an ideal year to be searching for center field help at the deadline, because there's a former All-Star available as a rental.

4/09/25 Dodgers could move on from Andy Pages after shocking decision on $12M offseason addition. The Los Angeles Dodgers signed Hyeseong Kim from the Korean Baseball Organization in the offseason. Kim did not hit well in spring training. The Dodgers are hoping he can find his swing in Triple-A, but that still does not guarantee him a spot on the Dodgers' crowded infield. Between Mookie Betts, Max Muncy, Tommy Edman, Kiké Hernández and Miguel Rojas, Kim will have a tough time finding at-bats.

3/13/25 Dodgers, Cardinals league-altering trade would make up for Hyeseong Kim miss in big way. The Los Angeles Dodgers have opted to start international free agent addition Hyeseong Kim in Triple-A. They could make up for their miss in free agency by swinging a blockbuster trade. Kim will eventually make his debut in the big leagues. Kim was one of the most sought-after international free agents this offseason and his failure to make the opening day roster is not what the Dodgers were expecting. FanSided's Zach Pressnell proposed this trade that would bring Nolan Arenado of the St. Louis Cardinals to Los Angeles.

3/12/25 Dodgers' $12.5 Million Offseason Addition Will Be Left Off Opening Day Roster. The Los Angeles Dodgers have had a dominant offseason, but not everything is perfectly falling into place as roster spots dwindle with Opening Day right around the corner. A four-time Gold Glove award winner in the Korean Baseball Organization was expected to be the everyday second baseman for L.A., but Hyeseong Kim has been optioned to the minor leagues and will start his MLB career in Triple-A. Manager Dave Roberts noted this spring that the differences in velocity between MLB and KBO might be a bit of a struggle for the infielder.

3/01/25 Dodgers' $12.5 Million Infielder Discusses Difficult Transition to MLB. Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Hyeseong Kim was candid when he discussed the transition from the Korean Baseball Organization to stateside baseball. The Dodgers played the Korean national team in Seoul at the Gocheok Sky Dome before the start of the 2024 season and it was during this exhibition matchup where the Dodgers witnessed Kim's defensive prowess.

2/27/25 Dodgers international addition could see surprising start to season. With all the big names the Los Angeles Dodgers have brought in this offseason, one acquisition who has flown under the radar is utilityman Hyeseong Kim. The former Korean Baseball Organization star came over on a three-year, $12.5 million deal this winter after posting a .304 batting average during his eight-year career. The well-rounded Kim also excelled on the bases with 211 stolen bases against just 37 caught stealings and became the only KBO player to win a Gold Glove at both second baseman and shortstop. Kim's 11 home runs in 2024 set a new career high, and he has never posted a slugging percentage above .458 in the offense-friendly KBO.

2/26/25 Hyeseong Kim to the minors? Why Dodgers are considering options for rookie's development. What has become clear of late is that it might take some time for Dodgers utilityman Hyeseong Kim to become a finished product offensively.

2/25/25 Dodgers’ Hyeseong Kim might need time in minors before jump to MLB. The Korean infielder is making adjustments to try and handle the higher-quality pitching he will face in MLB, but it might take longer than just spring training.

2/23/25 Dodgers giving Korean rookie Hyeseong Kim every chance to succeed. The 26-year-old from Korea will be given the chance to play multiple positions while trying to adjust to the elite pitching in the major leagues.

2/17/25 Dodgers' Hyeseong Kim preparing for high-velocity jump from Korea to MLB. When he was preparing to make the jump to Major League Baseball this winter, Hyeseong Kim sought out advice from fellow countrymen who made the move from Korea to MLB like former Dodgers Chan Ho Park and Hyun-Jin Ryu. More of a challenge for Kim might be the steady diet of high-velocity power pitching he will face in MLB.

1/21/25 Jack Flaherty Prediction Has Dodgers Star Landing With Major NL Rival. The Los Angeles Dodgers have had quite the offseason. Bringing back key players from the 2024 championship run like Teoscar Hernández and signing new talent such as Michel Conforto and Hyeseong Kim have made the National League's home run-leading team even more of an offensive threat in 2024. To most MLB teams, that is more than enough and already a successful offseason, but remember which team is being discussed here. Bringing in Cy Young award-winning pitcher Blake Snell, re-signing Blake Treinen, winning the Roki Sasaki sweepstakes to land the phenom, and even bolstering the bullpen by acquiring Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates within two days of each other ave solidified L.A. as the best pitching team in MLB.

1/17/25 Dodger Fall Out Of Lux But They Like Kim.

After Hyeseong Kim signed with the Dodgers, saw someone write that he could hit at the top of the order, and to that I say, sure, if Ohtani, Betts and Freeman are all injured. By the way, during this Christmas break, I was in Palm Springs with Cougs and Mother Cougs out at a restaurant that had an elevator (Nobu). Please, blog, may I have some more?

1/05/25 Dodgers blockbuster trade idea ships $3 million rising star to Yankees. The Los Angeles Dodgers have problems that make them the envy of 29 other Major League Baseball teams. At this point, the Dodgers have more good players than they know what to do with. The signing of 25-year-old Korean star Hyeseong Kim only exacerbates that problem. The New York Yankees don't have a clear-cut starting second baseman next season after Gleyber Torres' departure.
