4/15/25 Here's what mature Spencer Schwellenbach took from rough outing in loss to Blue Jays. To this point in his young career, Spencer Schwellenbach has seemed unflappable. The Blue Jays' five-run fifth inning buried the Braves in their 6-3 loss to Toronto at Rogers Centre. Atlanta's offense didn't save Schwellenbach, but he struggled, nonetheless. The Braves are 5-12 and still haven't won consecutive games this season.

3/26/25 Ahead of opening day, an MLB scout breaks down the Braves' roster. Expect big things from Spencer Schwellenbach. Take it from the expert opinion of a major league scout. It probably was the most intriguing bit of information I received when he granted my request to appraise the Braves roster on the condition he not be named. “Obviously, sophomore year, teams start to adjust to you,” the scout said.

2/26/25 Braves Spring Training to Feature Top MLB Positional Battle. Just because an MLB team enters the spring as a contender doesn't mean its entire roster is settled. "The Braves need to fill two rotation spots behind Chris Sale,Reynaldo López, andSpencer Schwellenbach to begin the season," Axisa wrote.

2/21/25 Braves named early trade fit for $56 million Cy Young winner to pair with Chris Sale. On paper, the starting rotation is one of the Atlanta Braves' strengths headed into the season. Reynaldo López was an All-Star last season, while Spencer Schwellenbach was a revelation in the second half as a rookie. Sale just pitched his first healthy season in six years and suffered a back injury at the very end, while López hadn't been a full-time starter since 2019 and briefly dealt with shoulder inflammation.

9/30/24 Lindor homer sends Mets to playoffs with 8-7 win over Braves, who need victory in twin-bill 2nd game. The Mets are headed to the postseason after Francisco Lindor’s two-run homer in the ninth capped a wild back-and-forth over the final two innings, giving New York an 8-7 victory over the Atlanta Braves in the opener of a makeup doubleheader squeezed in before the start of the playoffs. Atlanta would also earn a wild-card berth by winning the second game, which would eliminate Arizona. If the Mets sweep, the Braves would be knocked out. The Braves led 3-0 heading to the eighth behind rookie starter Spencer Schwellenbach, but that was long forgotten by the end of this thriller.
