Chourio has looked like a legitimate National League Most Valuable Player candidate to kick off the 2025 Major League Baseball season. 4/16/25 Brewers' Jackson Chourio Finally Snapped Odd Streak. The Milwaukee Brewers have got to be happy with the way that Jackson Chourio has played so far this season. Chourio has looked great so far this season but one thing that surprisingly stood out among his eye-popping numbers is the fact that he wasn't getting on base at all with walks. If Milwaukee is going to do any damage in the National League Central this season it is going to need Chourio to be at his best.

Jackson Chourio just turned 21 in March, and already he's keeping the company of three of the greatest hitters in Major League Baseball history. The Brewers' superstar is on the most torrid stretch of his big league career, and it's got everyone on notice. In his last three games entering Thursday, Chourio has 12 RBI, six extra-base hits, three home runs, two doubles and a steal. The first three guys to do it: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Shohei Ohtani.

DENVER | Jackson Chourio homered and doubled to drive in five runs as the Milwaukee Brewers cruised to a 17-2 win over the slumping Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night. The Brewers have taken the opening two games against Colorado to secure their first series win at Coors Field since 2018. Brice Turang lined two singles for Milwaukee to give him a hit in all 12 games. The franchise record to open a season is 13 games by Dickie Thon in 1993.

4/10/25 Brewer Bats Explode In Romp Over Rockies. DENVER, COL (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers hit three home runs among 13 hits in a 17-2 rout of the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday at Coor Field. Jackson Chourio stayed hot with a three-run homer and five RBIs. William Contreras and Christian Yelich also went deep. The Brewers plated five runs in both the 3rd and 5th innings before adding seven runs in the 9th. On a night when Milwaukee used five different pitchers, Grant Anderson picked up the win with two scoreless innings. The Brewers, now 7-5, will play the Rockies this afternoon…pre-game show at 1:35 on WSAU.

Jackson Chourio homered, doubled and drove in five runs, William Contreras and Christian Yelich each went deep for the second straight game, and the Milwaukee Brewers routed the Colorado Rockies 17-2 in Denver on Wednesday night. Garrett Mitchell, Joey Ortiz and Brice Turang had two hits apiece and Garrett Anderson (1-0) got the win with two innings of relief for Milwaukee.

3/27/25 Brewers Drop Opening Day Game Against Yankees 4-2. NEW YORK CITY, NY (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers are starting the 2025 season on a rough note after falling to the New York Yankees 4-2. Rising star outfielder Jackson Chourio struggled to get going on Thursday afternoon, going 0-5 with five strikeouts, while fellow outfielder Christian Yelich also failed to record a hit, going 0-4 with two strikeouts and a walk. Third baseman Vinny Capra had the biggest hit of the game for Milwaukee after hitting a solo home run in the top of the third inning. Starting pitcher Freddy Peralta went five innings, allowing two earned runs and just one walk, while Yankees starter Carlos Rodon also pitched five innings, giving up just one earned run on four hits.

3/24/25 Brewers Split Pair in Spring Action. MARYVALE, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers were in split squad action on Sunday and split their pair of games. They beat the Colorado Rockies 6-0 and lost to Seattle 10-6. In The game vs the Mariners Milwaukee was leading 6-3 in the 8th when Seattle struck for seven runs against Brewer minor leaguer Evan McKendry. Wes Clarke had a two run homer for Milwaukee. Jadher Areinamo drove in two runs. The Brewers got quality pitching against the Rockies as six pitchers combined for the shutout, giving up just five hits, striking out 12 with just two walks. 3/18/25 Brewers pitchers roughed up by San Diego, face Mariners today. (WNFL) – The San Diego Padres scored 14 runs on 13 hits in a 14-8 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. Jackson Chourio had 3 hits for the Brewers while Junior Ortiz, Manuel Margot and Luiyin Alastre each had 2 hits. Joel Payamps, Bryan Hudson and Abner Uribe each had rough outings against San Diego. Payamps allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1 inning. Hudson gave up 3 runs on 2 hits in 1 inning and took the loss. Uribe allowed 4 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks in 2/3 of an inning. The Brewers take on the Seattle Mariners today. The game can be heard on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL beginning at 3 p.m. this afternoon. The Milwaukee Brewers are constantly overlooked in major league baseball, but one player on their roster hasn't been forgotten about -- and received quite a compliment. The Brewers saw outfielder Jackson Chourio blossom into one of the league's best stars last year, and he has been given high expectations for his upcoming sophomore season. 3/07/25 Brewers Top Pitching Prospect Shines Against Athletics, Making Case For 2025 Debut. The Milwaukee Brewers' young stars have been shining thus far in spring training, and their top-pitching prospect continued the trend in his third outing of the year thus far. The Brewers identity as of late has been highlited by maginificent play from some of their younger players, most notably outfielder Jackson Chourio. Right-hander Jacob Misiorowski was chosen in the second round of the 2022 Major League Baseball Draft with the 63rd overall pick, and has been quickly making a name for himself in the minors. Misiorowski struck out three without surrendering a hit or walk in three innings pitched against the Athletics on Thursday afternoon.
