2/14/25	Jose Butto relieved to know the Mets plan to keep him in the bullpen this season. When the Mets informed Jose Butto of their intention to keep him in the bullpen in 2025, it brought the right-hander some relief. 11/13/24	Looking at Mets' bullpen situation after staff came up short on path to NLCS. The Mets' decision to not go all-in at the trade deadline was prudent at the time. President of baseball operations David Stearns made some effective moves that didn't cost the team any high-end prospects and he gave the bullpen enough fortification that the Mets were able to grab a Wild Card playoff spot. The circle of trust seemed to shrink with every round. He has been called up twice and sent back to the minors twice, and his last three starts have been two against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders and once versus the Buffalo Bisons.
