4/25/25 Seattle Mariners Share Heartwarming Social Media Post For Newly-Engaged Couple. The Seattle Mariners have gone viral for several promotions this season that don't necessarily bode well for couples attending games at T-Mobile Park together. The Mariners have a promotion that lets fans send an email to have Cal Raleigh break up with their partners by pre-recorded video on the jumbotron. Seattle also occasionally has a game on the jumbotron between innings with couples on first dates at the ballpark. The Mariners shared a video on "X" (formerly known as Twitter) that was heartwarming and celebrated the continued relationship of two fans.

4/23/25 ESPN Insider Jeff Passan Heaps High Praise on Seattle Mariners Catcher Cal Raleigh. It's been an eventful year for Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh. The former Florida State product set several franchise records in single-season RBIs (100), home runs (34) and set the MLB record for most home runs by a catcher in their first four seasons (93) — all in 2024. Raleigh also won the American League Gold Glove and Platinum Glove awards in the offseason and became the first catcher in Mariners history to accomplish that feat.

4/21/25 Mariners look to continue power surge vs. Red Sox. The visiting Seattle Mariners will attempt to outmuscle the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday when the teams begin a three-game series. Seattle has homered 13 times during its last six games and has 32 homers this season, good for fifth among MLB teams entering Monday. Cal Raleigh has homered a team-high nine times, and Rowdy Tellez homered in every game when Seattle won twice in a three-games series at Toronto over the weekend. "The long ball has been carrying us a little bit," Mariners manager Dan Wilson said.

4/18/25 Rise of Seattle Mariners' Raleigh can be tracked to Day 1. It has been quite a week for Cal Raleigh, who in one five-game stretch became the Seattle Mariners franchise home run leader at catcher, the second-fastest Mariners player to 100 career home runs, and completed the feat of homering from both sides of the plate for the fourth time in his career. Mariners assistant general manager Andy McKay was the team's farm director when Raleigh was drafted in the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft, as well as responsible for his continued development in the minor leagues.

4/17/25 Randy Arozarena, Mariners take down Reds in 10 innings. April 17 - Cal Raleigh and Randy Arozarena clubbed back-to-back homers in the ninth to tie the game and Arozarena drove in two more in a four-run 10th to rally the visiting Seattle Mariners past the Cincinnati Reds 11-7 on Thursday in the rubber game of the series. Reds closer Emilio Pagan had been a perfect 4-for-4 in save chances, but Raleigh took him deep to right to open the ninth and Arozarena tied it with a shot to left. The Mariners then took the lead in the 10th when J.P. Crawford singled with none out and runners at the corners against Graham Ashcraft (0-1). Arozarena later doubled home a pair of runs for insurance, and Mitch Garver scored on a field error by Elly De La Cruz. Andres

4/15/25 Can torpedo bats bring offense back to baseball? Why it’s worth a shot. The Mariners' Cal Raleigh homered in three straight games with the new torpedo bat. Purists balk, but all legal avenues for adding offense should be explored.

4/15/25 Where Mariners land in latest MLB power rankings. Entering last Monday, the Mariners were 3-7, with five games against the Astros and Rangers looming and injuries piling up. Seattle's offense has started to tick up as well, and Cal Raleigh's new torpedo bat already has three homers to its name. There are obvious concerns still about how the Mariners will weather injuries to starters Ryan Bliss and Victor Robles, but with the team back to .500 and just 1.5 games back of the first-place Angels (yes, really), fans can exhale a bit for now.

4/14/25 3 Seattle Mariners who are making unexpected contributions. The Seattle Mariners are 8-8 through their first 16 games, but after a 3-7 start, it's a .500 record that seemed almost unattainable before their recent 5-1 homestand began. Cal Raleigh slugged a home run in each of the team's victories during its sweep of Texas over the weekend. Randy Arozarena has come up in clutch moments, including a grand slam and walk-off walk in a wild comeback win over the Astros last week. Starting pitchers Logan Gilbert, Luis Castillo, Bryan Woo and Bryce Miller have all had solid outings.

4/12/25 Seattle Mariners' Cal Raleigh scores from 2nd on passed ball. One night after breaking the Seattle Mariners' all-time record for home runs by a catcher, Cal Raleigh went deep again. In the third inning of Saturday night's game, Raleigh was on second base when Texas Rangers catcher Jonah Heim appeared to get crossed up on a 2-2 pitch from rookie starter Kumar Rocker. The ball sailed past Heim's glove, took one bounce and then appeared to hit the “K” on the “T-Mobile Park” lettering fixed to the brick wall behind home plate. The ball then took a massive ricochet all the way over to the Mariners' first-base dugout, which allowed Raleigh to score standing up from second.

4/12/25 Debuting new torpedo bat, Cal makes Seattle Mariners history. Cal Raleigh's first hit with a torpedo bat produced yet another clutch moment in his still-young career. It also vaulted him into the franchise record books.
