4/09/25 Cardinals Slugger Might Have Greater Power Potential Than Shohei Ohtani & Aaron Judge. The St. Louis Cardinals are committed to investing in their future by allowing their youth core to lead the way in 2025 and so far, the road ahead is beginning to look bright. Although the Cardinals' front office didn't make any moves to bolster the lineup this past offseason, St. Louis' offense is among the league's best, with youngsters Lars Nootbaar, Jordan Walker, Victor Scott II and Brendan Donovan helping the youth-laden franchise remain competitive. Although there's much left to prove, a shocking statistic recently revealed suggests that a former Cardinals first-round draft pick could blossom into one of Major League Baseball's brightest stars.

3/06/25 Victor Scott II is ready to 'seize his moment' for Cardinals in 2025. There aren't a whole lot of position battles to monitor for the St. Louis Cardinals as they approach opening day in late March. Lars Nootbaar has taken reps in center, Michael Siani was a gold glove contender in 2024 and Victor Scott II is a lineup game-changer when he's on. For Scott II, it has been a blazing start to the spring. Statistically, it was a bit of a struggle for Scott II in his debut season.

3/03/25 Cardinals 27-Year-Old Fan-Favorite Predicted To Win Roster Battle. Who will be the St. Louis Cardinals' starting center fields in 2025? Entering Spring Training there obviously was a lot of trade chatter, but the Cardinals didn't make many moves so the roster they currently have is probably close to what it will look like on Opening Day. The center field position is one that has been talked about as Lars Nootbaar, Michael Siani, and Victor Scott II have been in contention for the role. Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter predicted that it will end up being Nootbaar.

2/05/25 Outfielder Lars Nootbaar and St. Louis Cardinals go to salary arbitration hearing. Outfielder Lars Nootbaar has gone to a salary arbitration hearing with the St. Louis Cardinals, arguing he should be paid $2.95 million instead of the team's $2.45 million offer. Cardinals right-hander Andre Pallante, Washington first baseman Nathaniel Lowe and Los Angeles Angels infielder Luis Rengifo also remain scheduled for hearings, which run through Feb. 14.

The St. Louis Cardinals did not reach deals with three arbitration-eligible players - outfielder Lars Nootbaar, outfielder/second baseman Brendan Donovan and right-handed pitcher Andre Pallante - by Thursday's deadline to exchange salary figures. The Cardinals did, however, reach one-year contracts with relief pitchers Ryan Helsley, JoJo Romero and John King to avoid arbitration.

12/17/24 Lars Nootbaar, 2025 Fantasy Baseball Sleeper.

Last year was a baad year for Lars Nootbaar. Or was it?! Damn, Mr. Reversal, I honestly didn’t expect to see you here. Or did you?! No. Wait, what? You’re confusing me now. Or am I?! Yeah. Okay. So, I went trolling through Statcast for some potential outfielder sleepers and Nootbaar, straight from the Wawa counter, right out of the candy aisle in Costco with a BOOM. Please, blog, may I have some more?
