3/26/25 Arizona native Josh Rojas aims to lead Chicago White Sox to relevance. Returning to Arizona for spring training after joining the White Sox this past offseason carried special meaning, as Camelback Ranch is just a short distance from his hometown. “It's awesome,” Rojas said after a recent session at the team's spring training facilities.

White Sox infielder Josh Rojas (hairline fracture in his right big toe) is hoping to get on the field in the next three or four days. The Sox host the Angels next Thursday to open the season, and while having Rojas ready seems optimistic, they're not yet ruling it out, knowing the next few days will give more clarity. “The biggest thing is keeping my body in shape so when I feel I'm ready I can go full speed,” Rojas said. Rojas was hurt playing third base when a baserunner slid on the side of his foot.

2/07/25 Seattle Mariners' intriguing option if 3B defense is lacking. The Seattle Mariners had well documented offensive issues for much of the 2024 season, but one thing they could almost always count on was solid defense at an important position: third base. This offseason, Seattle did not tender a contract to Josh Rojas, who was the team's primary third baseman in 2024. Polanco has much more power and a higher ceiling at the plate than Rojas, but he's not known for his defense.

1/03/25 Angels miss out on low-risk third base addition to the lowly White Sox. It feels even worse when that player signs with a club in a far-worse position than your favorite team. For Angels fans, they cannot feel too good about the White Sox swooping in and signing infielder Josh Rojas to a one-year deal. Rojas was a low-risk opportunity for the Angels to replace Anthony Rendon at third base, who has been dreadful on and off the field for Halos fans.

12/01/24 Now-Former Seattle Mariners Third Baseman Listed as Player to Watch This Offseason. Two weeks ago, the Seattle Mariners made the surprising decision to non-tender third baseman Josh Rojas, who spent most of the 2024 season as the team's starter. The decision was likely over money, as Rojas was projected to earn $4 million in arbitration, and the M's are looking to save money wherever they can. Now that he's been non-tendered, Rojas has been listed as a "free agent to watch" by MLBTradeRumors. Rojas was a somewhat surprising non-tendered, given his status as one of the Mariners' better internal infield options headed into 2025.
