8/24/25 Chargers final roster: Surprising cut candidates on LA's 53-man depth chart decisions. The Los Angeles Chargers won't have an easy time cutting down to the final 53-man roster by the deadline in a few days. As always, Jim Harbaugh and general manager Joe Hortiz will need to strike a tough balance between contending now and the long-term rebuilding plan. The Chargers went out and signed Tyler Conklin and drafted Oronde Gadsden.

7/29/25 Jets Rookie Reviews Overwhelmingly One-Sided, Even From Justin Fields. There's a solid chance that rookie tight end Mason Taylor is the No. 2 overall pass-catching option on the New York Jets by the time the 2025 NFL season comes to an end. Taylor is coming to town after being selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. There was an opening at tight end with Tyler Conklin leaving and everything said about Taylor so far has been positive. "I think he's been doing an outstanding job in that aspect," Glenn said.

7/25/25 Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden takes 'notable step forward' in training camp. If Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden wants to see the field during his rookie campaign, he's got to show he can block. A fifth-round pick of the Chargers in April, we've already seen that the rookie has the chops to be an impact pass-catcher, but the jury is still out on his blocking. Gadsden already faces an uphill climb for playing time with Tyler Conklin and Will Dissly ahead of him, but being a liability as a blocker will only hurt his cause further. Thankfully, it appears Gadsden is making strides in that area.

7/16/25 Los Angeles Chargers praised for frustrating approach this offseason. Coming off an 11-6 campaign, the Los Angeles Chargers knew they had a decent roster but understood they needed more depth to make a run in the postseason. Other than his signing, they made subtle moves like bringing back wide receiver Mike Williams and landing tight end Tyler Conklin. In the draft, they continued to play it safe by taking North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton in Round 1 rather than going for an explosive receiver. Again, not overly exciting, but Hampton is an excellent — albeit safe — pick that makes sense for head coach Jim Harbaugh.

6/27/25 Chargers appear to pass on Tight End University as rest of AFC West attends. Los Angeles Chargers tight ends have been in the news recently for some odd reasons. The main culprit was Tyler Conklin responding to fan critiques after a highlight reel of his running routes went viral. One would think, though, that Chargers tight ends would take the layup of a headline that is attending Tight End University this week.

6/25/25 Chargers player claps back at fans poking fun at his highlight reel. Los Angeles Chargers tight end Tyler Conklin recently went viral for a highlight reel that featured him running routes while training this offseason. Like anything on the internet, reactions were mixed. Some thought Conklin's cut-up looked good, but the negative reactions shoved their way to the forefront of the conversation. Some thought Conklin seemed a combination of exaggerated in the motions, if not slow. RELATED: Austin Ekeler dishes on Chargers departure, trade request before joining Commanders But Conklin himself has seen the reactions and said more than enough as a reply with just one simple emoji over a tweet that said this about the highlights: “Everyone making fun of Tyler Conklin
