4/26/25 | Second Dolphins Son Gets Drafted. Three rounds after one Miami Dolphins legacy got his name called in the 2025 NFL draft, it was Oronde Gadsden II's turn. The son of former Dolphins wide receiver Oronde Gadsden was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers late in the fifth round, joining a team coming off a playoff appearance. Gadsden was the ninth tight end selected in this draft. The third was Mason Taylor, the son of Dolphins Hall of Famer Jason Taylor and nephew of Hall of Famer Zach Thomas, who was selected by the New York Jets in the second round. 4/24/25 | Is the Dolphins First-Round Pick the 'Lock of the Night'?. Perhaps even more than in a normal year, the speculation has run rampant for the Miami Dolphins might do in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. But NFL Network reporter Steve Wyche went beyond typical speculation Thursday afternoon when he all but guaranteed the Dolphins' first-round pick at number 13. And that first-round pick wasn't any of the names normally associated with the Dolphins at that spot, not Jahdae Barron or Will Johnson, not Armando Membou or Kelvin Banks Jr., not Kenneth Grant or Malaki Starks. The prediction from Wyche: North Dakota State offensive lineman Grey Zabel. Wyche, in fact, called it the "lock of the night." Zabel is considered the most versatile offensive lineman Source: https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/is-the-dolphi... |
4/24/25 | Sieler Getting Major College Honor. Zach Sieler was the first Ferris State Bulldog to be drafted into the NFL, and his unique path to becoming a defensive anchor for the Miami Dolphins will be celebrated Friday. An All-American in each of his last two seasons at Division II Ferris State, Sieler will become the second football player in program history to have their jersey retired, which will happen at halftime of Friday's Crimson & Gold Spring Football Game. From walking on to the Bulldogs' roster to becoming the Most Valuable Player for the 2024 Dolphins, his rise has been as unlikely as it is undeniable. "We're looking forward to honoring Zach on Friday and he's extremely deserving of this recognition," FSU head coach Tony Annese said in a release from the school. 4/23/25 | Could Ramsey Be Headed Back to Rams?. Jalen Ramsey seems headed for a divorce with the Miami Dolphins and it might be that the Dolphins make another deal with the Los Angeles Rams. At the very least, the Rams haven't closed the door on the idea, based on comments from both GM Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay during that team's annual pre-draft press conference this week. The Rams, fresh off a playoff appearance with a young defense, are in a different spot now than they were in 2023 when they traded Ramsey to the Dolphins because of salary considerations and clearly still view Ramsey in high regard. 4/23/25 | Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa lists stunning home on Florida waterfront for $3 million. The mansion has a private movie theater, a putting green, an enormous pool, and an outdoor summer kitchen. Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has put his stunning lakeside Florida mansion on the market for $3 million-as speculation continues to swirl about his readiness for the coming season after he was forced to skip six games in the 2024 season because of injury. Tagovailoa, 27, joined the Miami Dolphins in 2020, having been selected as the fifth overall pick in that year's NFL draft following a season-ending injury that cut short his triumphant career at Alabama. Though he has continued to impress with his stellar performance on the field, it is Tagovailoa's many absences from regular season games that have drawn as much interest as-if not more than-his appearances. 4/22/25 | Raiders should avoid proposed trade for overrated 'star' cornerback. The Las Vegas Raiders have had plenty of turnover in their secondary this offseason, but it could be argued that this was well-warranted. The early part of the 2025 NFL Draft seems sure to yield the addition of a cornerback, but there are questions if anyone will step up and become a certified No. 1 corner. The Miami Dolphins have sent out the bat signal that cornerback Jalen Ramsey is available, and the Raiders make sense as a possible trade suitor. Pro Football Focus' Thomas Valentine, however, has maintained the premise of the Raiders trading for a veteran cornerback, but he outlined a possible trade with a different team before the upcoming draft. After finishing their 2024 season with an 8-9 record, in second place in the AFC East and outside of the playoffs for the first time since Mike McDaniel took over as their head coach, the Miami Dolphins have made some small changes this offseason. Over the last month, the Dolphins have lost Jevon Holland, Raheem Mostert, Kendall Lamm, Braxton Berrios, Jack Stoll, River Cracraft, Durham Smythe, Siran Neal, Calais Campbell, Da'Shawn Hand, Robert Jones and Anthony Walker Jr. Source: https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/miami-dolphins... |

4/20/25 | What Ramsey's Exit Would Mean for Defense. Three players started 17 games for the Miami Dolphins defense last season, but only one is expected to remain with the team entering next year. Jordyn Brooks is a projected starter at linebacker, Calais Campbell signed with the Arizona Cardinals, and Jalen Ramsey is now on the trade block. The Dolphins and Ramsey believe parting ways is the best path forward for both sides. Miami is rebuilding its defense, and without Ramsey as a centerpiece, it may pivot to a more straightforward system designed to support a younger, less experienced unit.
