The postponement was announced about 3 1/2 hours before Saturday's original first pitch and will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Sunday. When Max Fried returned to the Yankees dugout following the seventh inning of Sunday's game, he and his teammates followed the time-honored ritual. Fried was the starting pitcher and he had worked seven scoreless innings. Saying “no-hitter” out loud would be considered a jinx.
