4/24/25 Twins star Carlos Correa says his swing 'sucks' amid struggles. The Minnesota Twins shortstop gave an unfiltered assessment of his swing this week, bluntly stating, “I'm dealing with my swing sucks now,” via Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Despite feeling physically healthy, Correa admitted the results haven't been what he or the Twins expected. Frustration is building, but the former All-Star remains focused on the process rather than panicking as he works through mechanical adjustments with the coaching staff.

4/23/25 Trevor Larnach, Byron Buxton power Twins win over White Sox. The Twins left eight men on base through the first three innings with only one run to show for it. In the first inning, they loaded the bases with one out. Carlos Correa, trying to break out of his slow start, rocketed a ball directly at White Sox second baseman Brooks Baldwin, and Luke Keaschall didn't have time to retreat before he was doubled off second base for an inning-ending double play.

4/23/25 Braves called 'perfect landing spot' for $200M All-Star in blockbuster trade. The Atlanta Braves are in desperate need of an upgrade at shortstop. The Minnesota Twins are 8-15 and could become sellers near the deadline. The Braves are not off to a great start themselves. Newsweek's Zach Pressnell tabbed Atlanta as a "perfect" landing spot for Carlos Correa.

4/22/25 Twins take advantage of errors, pull away from White Sox late. In the early days of the Twins' season, they've been let down by their own defense too often. In the second inning, down a run, shortstop Carlos Correa grounded a ball towards first baseman Andrew Vaughn. Second baseman Lenyn Sosa was unable to catch Vaughn's thrown, and instead of it being a rally-killing double play, the Twins had two runners on and nobody out.

4/20/25 Yankees blockbuster trade idea brings $200 million 3-time All-Star to Bronx. The New York Yankees have a need at third base and could fill it by adding a superstar from a struggling team. The Minnesota Twins could be ideal trade partners for the Yankees. Bleacher Report's Tim Kelly recently mentioned Carlos Correa as a trade candidate. The Twins are off to a 7-14 start, and while Kelly did not specify a team to which he could be traded, Newsweek's Zach Pressnell proposed that he could play third base for the Yankees.

4/18/25 Twins $200 million 3x All-Star listed as likely trade chip before deadline. The Minnesota Twins are off to a dreadful start this season. While they have performed a little bit better in recent weeks, they still are 7-12 and sit in fourth place in the American League Central, four games back of the first place Detroit Tigers. While it's still early in the season, the Twins may end up being sellers at the trade deadline if they cannot find their footing. One piece that could be traded is shortstop Carlos Correa.

4/18/25 Risky Mets Trade Idea Brings Carlos Correa to Queens. Should the Mets trade for a former Rookie of the Year?

4/18/25 Minnesota Twins Land Former A's Prospect. The Minnesota Twins are making moves, and it's more out of necessity than fine-tuning. The Twins are dealing with injuries to Matt Walner, who was just placed on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain, Carlos Correa is dealing with a wrist issue, and Willi Castro left Wednesday's game with an oblique ailment. In an effort to increase their production, the team is reportedly set to call up Luke Keaschall, MLB Pipeline's No. 57 prospect, and the No. 3 guy in Minnesota's system. In addition to Keaschall, the Twins also added recently claimed Jonah Bride and added him to the 26-man roster.

4/14/25 Missing offense, errors doom Twins in loss to Mets. Carlos Correa knows this feeling all too well. It feels the same, he said, as it did late last season —  when the Twins spiraled out of playoff contention, finishing the final 39 games 12-27 as nearly four months of good play went down the drain and the Twins missed out on a postseason berth. The early part of the Twins' season has been marred by poor defense — particularly from the team's pitchers — and a slow offensive start up and down the lineup. The Twins finished the night with just one more hit  (3) then errors (2), both of which came from relievers on throws to first base.

4/13/25 Who to Watch for the Astros' Top Selection in the 2025 MLB Draft. It's no secret that the Houston Astros built their World Series teams on the backs of Carlos Correa, Alex Bregman and George Springer. Since the Astros are not the New York Yankees or Los Angeles Dodgers, it's vital for general manager Dana Brown and his front office to have successful drafts every year. While it's easy to complain about the Dodgers' spending, their success rate in drafting and developing talent is unrivaled.

3/30/25 Minnesota Twins' Carlos Correa not ready to jump on board 'torpedo bat' bandwagon yet. The surgeon who performed Paddack's second Tommy John elbow surgery in 2022, Dr. Keith Meisner , “told me whenever I take time off, even just a couple of days, my body doesn't respond very well to ramping back up. I have stiffness or arm fatigue the next time I get on a mound,” Paddack said. “It sounds crazy, but he convinced me of the idea of having a backyard catch like when I was a kid, throwing three of four times a day with my dad or brother. Or throwing a football around for a while, or just long-tossing. So I do something every day, just to keep the shoulder and elbow moving, just flexing the joints.”

3/18/25 Carlos Correa, Alex Bregman texted Lance McCullers Jr. before long-awaited injury return. Lance McCullers Jr. was back on a Major League mound on Tuesday, albeit in a Spring Training game, as his Houston Astros fell 4-3 to the Washington Nationals. McCullers threw only one inning, retiring the side in the top of the first inning before Spencer Arrighetti took over. McCullers did not give up a hit; the only Washington runner to reach base was Dylan Crews, who got on via a hit by pitch. It was McCullers' first time pitching for the big league club since the 2022 World Series — 868 days ago, to be exact.

3/08/25 Minnesota Twins Star Scuffling in Big Way to Start Spring Training. Minnesota Twins star Carlos Correa is off to a rough start at the plate in spring training, as he's just 1-for-16 across six games. Now, spring training results don't matter, and spring training results aren't predictive of what's to come in the regular season, but you would like to carry some positive momentum into the season, and Correa isn't. In the wake of budget concerns and a potential sale, the Twins didn't do anything big this offseason. In fact, they lost Max Kepler and Carlos Santana, making Correa's presence even more important.

2/11/25 First base, rookie contributors: Nine questions facing the Minnesota Twins in spring training. The top question asked to players during Twinsfest related to their late-season meltdown that cost the team a playoff spot last year. It was an obvious source of motivation during the winter, but Baldelli said he wanted to implement some changes this spring, including giving veteran players noticeably more at-bats in camp. Lewis was starting to draw mythical comparisons when he hit 10 homers in his first 16 games last season. The Twins largely know what to expect from Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton when they're on the field.

1/27/25 Twins' Correa hopeful woes with feet are history. After plantar fasciitis interrupted a second consecutive season with the Twins, three-time All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa said he will be ready for spring training next month without restriction.
