7/29/25 | Fantasy Football Deep Sleeper Watch: New York Giants WR Jalin Hyatt. Jalin Hyatt entered the NFL as a raw but explosive deep threat, and he's spent the offseason adding strength and polish to his game. With an expanded role on the horizon and his blazing speed still intact, Hyatt is one of the top breakout candidates in the Giants' wide receiver corps for 2025. Hyatt can create some catches over the short areas of the field on comeback routes, but his skill set needs some polish on shorter pass patterns. After two short seasons (20/276/2 and 21/226/2) in college, Hyatt shined as the Tennessee Volunteers' big-play wide receiver. Source: https://www.si.com/onsi/fantasy/nfl/fantasy-footba... |
7/25/25 | New York Giants Camp Report Day 3: A Brief Scare, O-line Concern, and More. Head coach Brian Daboll has been eager to have the players work in pads, but according to CBA guidelines, teams cannot do so until they have been acclimated to camp for five days. The current CBA limits the number of padded practices between the veteran reporting date and the final day of preseason training camp to 16. Daboll hasn't said what his plans are, as he's likely going to take each day as it comes, but given how ill-prepared the Giants looked last year to start the season, it probably wouldn't hurt for the players to take full advantage of their padded practices as much as possible. Receiver Jalin Hyatt, who during last month's mandatory minicamp suffered a left hamstring strain, was held out of Friday's practice due to some tightness and cramping he experienced in Thursday's session. 7/14/25 | 25 Questions in 25 Days: Sleeper players to follow. 9) Who are some sleeper players to follow? Dan Salomone: Let's start with two players who might not be on everyone's radar – unless you followed along this spring. Safety Dane Belton and wide receiver Jalin Hyatt turned heads at OTAs, the former doing what he does best with forcing turnovers and the latter entering a crucial third year with the full confidence of 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson. Defensive coordinator Shane Bowen is stressing takeaways (see: the tale of the turnover chest) and said they will find ways to get Belton, who recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff of his NFL debut, on the field in a crowded secondary.
