With that duo in their backfield, they have one of the best rushing duos in the NFL, and they're going to quickly go from one of the worst rushing teams to one of the best in the span of one offseason. After Mostert, the next man up on their depth chart is Sincere McCormick, who didn't play much during his rookie year and isn't projected to play much in his sophomore year either.

2/23/25 REPORT: Raiders Land Veteran RB in Recent Prediction. The Las Vegas Raiders were well known to have a weak running game last season, as they ranked in dead last in the NFL in average rushing yards per game. While the Raiders obtain youthful options such as Sincere McCormick and Dylan Laube, the cause might need some strong veteran leadership. Both Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah were brought in to be those veteran running back options, but they did not consistently provide for the franchise.

1/06/25 Raiders sign 12 players to Reserve/Future contracts. With a loss on Sunday officially ending their season, the Las Vegas Raiders will now enter one of the most important offseasons for the franchise in recent memory. Equipped with the No. 6 pick in the draft, as well as three other selections in the top 75 and over $100 million projected in cap space, Tom Telesco and the front office have their work cut out for them. The first step in the process is to sign players to Reserve/Future contracts, which typically entails signing a player who finished the year on your practice squad to a deal that guarantees them a spot on the team through the offseason program. Last offseason, the team signed players like Sincere McCormick, Sam Webb and Charles Snowden to such contracts.

Sincere McCormick could've at some point just walked away. “People know the journey I've been through, and it shows you that hard work and dedication pay off,” McCormick said. After going undrafted out of Texas-San Antonio, he signed with the Raiders in 2022 only to find himself on injured reserve just three weeks later, setting the tone for what largely was to come. Little figured to change this season when McCormick was stuck on the practice squad with Zamir White and Alexander Mattison as the Raiders top two running backs to go with 10-year veteran Ameer Abdullah also occupying a spot on the roster.
