8/05/25 Yankees' Aaron Boone has one regret about Jazz Chisholm incident. The Yankees had a rough weekend sweep by the Miami Marlins that was underscored by some sloppy plays. One of the more brutal of which came in the second inning of Saturday's loss when infielder Jazz Chisholm was doubled off on a routine popup to second base. After the inning, Yankees manager Aaron Boone was seen having a tense conversation with first base coach Travis Chapman. It was more about Jazz and the play that just happened, and I hadn't gotten a chance to talk to Jazz yet.

Then on Saturday, they were held scoreless in a 2-0 loss, highlighted by a costly baserunning blunder when Jazz Chisholm Jr. was doubled off at first base on an infield popup — a play that drew instant backlash from fans calling for manager Aaron Boone to bench him.

8/01/25 Yankees’ Jazz Chisholm Jr. says return to Miami ‘not a big deal’. Jazz Chisholm Jr. spent his first four-plus big league seasons in Miami, and he didn’t always have the easiest time there. But with the second baseman returning to LoanDepot Park for the first time since being traded to the Yankees last summer, Chisholm is hardly adding importance to a three-game series with the Marlins that starts on Friday. “It’s not a big deal to me going to Miami,” a ...

7/27/25 Yankees' Struggling Infielder Wants to Improve. The New York Yankees are shopping around for a new third baseman ahead of the 2025 MLB trade deadline, but not because they don't have any on the roster. After the Yankees moved Jazz Chisholm Jr. back to second base, Jorbit Vivas and Oswald Peraza have been splitting time at third. Peraza, who was once one of the Yankees' top prospects, is a top-notch fielder, but recently has come under fire for his less than stellar hitting stats. For his part, Peraza knows he needs to get better and said as much after a recent game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

In his first at-bat in the second outing against the Atlanta Braves game, New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm was brought up to the tune of a unique song from the Braves organist. In Saturday's game against the Braves, Chisholm was on second base and Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe was at bat when Chisholm began waving his arms in an attempt to relay pitching information to Volpe.
