The Miami Dolphins' 2025 preseason schedule kicks off Sunday against the Chicago Bears, with two of their three matchups scheduled to be televised live on NFL Network. One of those games will be the matchup against the Bears, scheduled for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The NFL Network crew will have Adam Amin on play-by-play, Jim Miller doing the color, and Lou Cannelis working the sidelines. Jaelan Phillips was back at Miami Dolphins practice Tuesday, evidence the injury he sustained over the weekend was minor — just like he indicated on social media. Phillips sustained a contusion when he was leg-whipped Saturday and left practice early, but made sure to alert everyone there was no need for concern after getting a lot of messages. "I appreciate the concern from all the supporters and stuff, but yeah, I just had to let everybody know," Phillips said. Gabbert entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Miami on May 22, 2025, and spent the offseason program with the team before being waived on July 22, 2025. He played collegiately at Miami (OH), where he started 53 games in six seasons (2019-24) and completed 778-of-1,331 passing attempts (58.5 pct.) for 10,814 yards and 80 touchdowns with 30 interceptions.
