5/14/10The Rockies were faced with a decision on Young, who hit .250 with a .351 on-base percentage while playing second base and left field after being called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs on April 25. But Young was injured Wednesday, although no one knew the extent of the injury until Thursday. "As he went around and spilled out, he actually kind of kicked himself as he was going around trying to maintain his balance," Tracy said. "He showed up today, and they did an X-ray and it showed a small stress fracture of the mid-tibia."
