8/05/10	Nippert is still experiencing headaches after getting hit in the head with a line drive a couple of weeks ago. Manager Ron Washington is unsure when Nippert will resume baseball activities and doesn't expect him to pitch again this season.
7/20/10	Nippert was placed on the DL after getting hit in the head with a line drive in Monday's game. Nippert is okay and the move is precautionary.
6/17/10	Nippert will start for the Rangers Thursday against Florida. Originally, Matt Harrison was slated to start but due to Florida's right-handed heavy hitting lineup, manager Ron Washington decided to go with Nippert. He is 2-36 with a 4.60 ERA in 22 relief appearances this season.
