4/30/10Manager Ron Washington indicated Thursday that Feliz is still his closer despite the youngster's recent struggles. Feliz has allowed two runs in three of his last four appearances which include a blown save and a loss. His velocity is down a bit and has recorded just two strikeouts in his last four innings. With Frank Francisco looming in the bullpen, Feliz will need to straighten things out if he wants to remain the closer in Texas.
4/12/10Feliz has been named the Rangers' closer while Frank Francisco is struggling. Manager Ron Washington indicated the move is only temporary and stood behind Francisco as the team's closer. Owners should pick up Feliz (if he's available) based on the current save opportunities and for his upside.
3/28/10Feliz has been informed he will begin the season in the bullpen. The team has not ruled out Feliz joining the rotation at some point in the future.
