9/02/10	Brett Hayes expects to miss 2-4 weeks of action due to a Grade 1 separated shoulder.
8/06/10	Marlins manager Edwin Rodriguez said Thursday that he plans to give Brett Hayes a good amount of playing time moving forward. Hayes played very sparingly behind the plate before landing on the disabled list in late July, but the Marlins want Ronny Paulino to get some much-needed rest. "Hayes is going to start some games," Rodriguez said. "I think I'm going to use him more than I used him before." The 26-year-old Hayes is batting .219/.306/.344 with a homer and two RBI in 32 at-bats this season.
