1/22/10	The Reds signed Arredondo to a minor-league contract. He will mis the 2010 season due to Tommy John surgery.
12/12/09	The Angels did not re-sign Arredondo, who becomes a free agent. He will have Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in January, which will force him to miss the entire 2010 season. He posted a 6.00 ERA in 43 appearances in 2009 after recording an impressive 1.62 ERA in 52 appearances as an Angels' rookie in 2008.
